Tribal / City Relations

 

The relationship between the city and the tribe is of vital interest to everyone. Our ties run deep both historically and currently. 

 

We are brothers and sisters who share equal interest in our desire for health, wealth, and prosperity. Many of the same community based interests are equal among us. Success for one is success for the other. 

 

There is no excuse for a lack of vibrancy, balanced behavior, or unattended issues in this relationship. 

 

Lack of movement on this issue is unacceptable regardless of positions dug-in. Our city cannot be at war with itself. Balance, compassion, humility, and negotiation are just the reference points of how the city must regard its relationship with this vital and partner.
